Cara May Gorman is primarily an oil painter whose work up until this point consists largely of studies of the human form.
Over time, these studies have started to expand into deeper and more varying ideas and media than simply classical oil renditions of the human form.
Her more recent work, while dealing largely with ideas revolving around the spiritual realm, has continued to manifest visually as an exploration of the physical makeup of the body and its tissues, which therefore comments on the many correlations between the natural world and the spiritual. |
