CURRENT WORK
Fall 2008-Winter 2009

The ideas that are currently driving my work have not changed greatly over the past two years. The intricate and detailed makeup of a larger whole is a concept that has seemed to continually make its way visually into my work, affecting movement and texture, specifically. I am aiming to continue working within the freedom I have gained thus far regarding media and style, while also gleaning from what I know and love about classical art.

Ideas involving the spiritual world within, or outside, the world that we see with our physical eyes, are continuing to emerge with my current paintings. We'll see what happens.
